Morality and ethics: Religious and scientific perspectives on ethical and moral issues, such as abortion or mercy killing, may disagree. These disputes may result from divergent viewpoints on the worth of human life and the function of religion in informing moral judgments.
In general, these disputes show the divergent perspectives that science and religion take on issues relating to the universe and our role within it.
